Several students attended a party last night and had some snacks while there. The next morning, they awoke with painful stomach cramps and diarrhea! Students perform interviews with the affected students to pinpoint the culprit behind their shared illness.
It's clear that no one intended to harm the students, so how did tainted ingredients wind up in some of the party food? Students use a microscope to figure out just what kind of single-celled ne'er-do-well is behind the outbreak so that they can launch an investigation into the true source of the illness.
Students then examine the setting where the Lemonade was created, and figure out that the water supply from the home-made rigged setup was not safe and had amoebas!
